Game day. The players are all pumped up. You are.
Everybody on ice. Adrenalin are pumping.
Referees are bad. Game is good.
For the next 12 hours you are high on the experience...
Then comes the other side. The day after game day. All alone at the rink. A ton of laundry. No laughter in the corridor. No players. No hard passes at the rink.
Feeling a bit empty inside. Wan´t the players to be there.
But hey. It´s part of the game for an equipment manager. That´s what makes it all work.
At least I got to play MY music in the locker room today.
And everything is in order for tomorrows practice.
Also doing some promotion for cancer research. Women hockey are lacing up in pink for October. I´m always wearing pink. Can you spare a few bucks? Do it here: https://www.cancerfonden.se/insamlingar/damhockeyn-snorar-rosa,,
